All THE DOING CIRCLE events - small group volunteer opportunities, TDC Connects speakers and workshops, and community gatherings.
The mission of the Prison Book Program is to support people in prison by sending them free books and print resources that meet their specific needs and interests. Prisoners write into the program with specific requests and PBP volunteers do their best to fulfill them. Volunteering usually includes a “job” such as picking books, invoicing, packing and/or quality control. This is an extremely rewarding volunteer activity - don't miss out!

Simple Stems, Shared Joy: A Floral Workshop
Join us for a meaningful hands-on workshop where we'll create beautiful flower arrangements to brighten the days of memory care residents.
Led by Lucinda Chrislip, founder of the woman-owned Derby Farm Flowers, you'll learn how to craft elegant, long-lasting arrangements using affordable flowers similar to what you’d find at your local supermarket. Lucinda will share professional design techniques you can use again and again - proving that gorgeous arrangements don't require expensive specialty blooms.
What We'll Do Together:
No floral experience needed - just bring your creativity and willingness to spread joy.
This workshop launches our new partnership with Theo's Flowers, bringing beauty and connection to those in memory care.
Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory
Help provide essential items to children experiencing poverty by volunteering at the Cradles to Crayons warehouse. We'll work together inspecting, sorting, and packaging donated clothing, shoes, books, and school supplies to prepare them for distribution to local families in need.
