Learn American Mah Jongg - Friday Morning Series

Discover the fun, strategy, and social connection of American Mah Jongg in a welcoming, supportive workshop designed to help you learn the game and feel confident at the table. Whether you're brand new to the game or want to brush up on what you've learned, this workshop is for you.

What We'll Do Together

• Learn the official National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules, so you can play confidently anywhere
• Learn common house rules and table etiquette, for a smoother, more enjoyable experience at the table

Good to Know

• This is a 3-session series that builds week to week, so attendance at the first class is required to participate
• An NMJL 2026 card will be provided. No need to purchase one ahead of time
• Led by Catherine Francis, a former teacher now teaching American Mah Jongg
